Home Carers have an important role in supporting you to live as independently and safely as possible in your own home. In Aberdeenshire, Home Carers can be employed by Aberdeenshire Council or independent care providers.
Home Carers provide personal care, home support and practical support if you need it. This can be for a short time to help you recover from an illness or change in abilities, or for longer if you have ongoing care and support needs.
Your Home Carer may help you with medicine management, personal care or meal preparation. The type of support you get depends on your individual needs and goals.
